Who am I?
Obviously, my name is Miriam Müller. Also – quite obvious – I am a Star Trek/Sci-Fi fan. Believe it or not, I also like Star Wars… but I won’t start that discussion now. My love for science is resembled in my vita. Coming from a biology/bioinformatics background I made my way into web development. And that is where I am right now. This Blog
When I came into the world of web development I knew nothing. As a cross background beginner I was lucky to have good employers and helpful, supportive colleagues – some of them I am humbled to call friends now. In retrospective there were some basic things I wish I had known in university already. I think, there is no need for another blog explaining things in detail. What I would have needed was a good overview of useful tools/sites where I can find help on my own. In the end, you have to do things hands-on to truly learn them. A good source, some orientation on where to look and which tool to trust – this helped me the most and I had the luck to get it from the colleagues I worked with.
So, now, it is time to share. And that is why this blog exists.
